Design

Purpose. Safe scripts and tools for AI agents, and a safer replacement for shell and glue scripts.

Core ideas. Permissions as subtypes, refinement types (a port is an integer from 1 to 65535), secrets that cannot be logged, subtyped errors, protocol versions as subtypes, demote, and sub explain.

Target. WebAssembly with WASI, run on an embedded Wasmtime.

Syntax. Bracket-heavy with one job per bracket and a needs [ ... ] header, designed to be human friendly first and agent friendly underneath.
